I just finished this watercolor. I like it, but I cannot tell whether the center feels intentional or just empty.

AI:

The open space helps the flowers breathe, so it does not feel empty by accident. The stronger issue is that the darkest values sit near the outer edges, which pulls attention away from the center. Deepening one or two shapes closer to the focal area may make the composition feel more deliberate without filling the space.

You:

What is already working that I should avoid changing?

AI:

The loose edges and uneven color are giving it movement. Tightening all of those areas would likely make the painting feel more controlled, but less alive.
